ROTTWEILERS
Welcome to Willawyn Rottweilers!
Welcome to Willawyn Rottweilers! We are located in Augusta, Georgia.
My husband and I bought our first rottweiler in 1992, and we have
been in love with this noble breed ever since. We show and trial
our dogs in conformation, rally, and obedience. Our dogs are AKC
and UKC registered, and are also registered therapy dogs with Therapy
Dogs Inc.
We strongly believe that the ideal rottweiler is a well rounded
and sound working dog, possessing a stable temperament, high working
drive and ability, genetic and physical soundness, with proper structure
and breed type.
My passion is obedience training, and because this is a working
breed, I am a firm believer that every rottweiler should be trained
and titled to a minimum of a CD or BH. Rottweilers are a versatile
breed that can excel in many different sports, but obedience training
is the foundation for all of them.
Willawyn Rottweilers is not a breeding kennel and we do not have
plans to breed rottweilers now or at any time in the near future.
Our belief is that a rottweiler must have it all - physical beauty
according to the breed standard, breed type, brains, working ability,
health clearances, pedigree and stable temperament before being
considered for any breeding program. It is also my belief that a
rottweiler should also be titled at both ends of it's name, and
that only the best representatives of the breed with the complete
package should be in a breeding program with the goal of achieving
the ideal rottweiler.
Take a few minutes and poke around our website. Meet our dogs,
learn about rottweilers, you'll find lots of good information here
about rottweilers.
Our goal with this website is to provide unbiased and factual information
to those of you who are considering adding a rottweiler to their
family, and who are researching the breed and/or rottweiler breeders.
We have nothing to gain by selling you a dog because we do not breed
and do not sell rottweilers. We do believe that a prospective rottweiler
owner should be well educated on the issues this breed faces, on
how to find, and the importance of a reputable breeder, and what
responsible ownership of this breed is all about. Enjoy your visit,
and if you have questions, feel free to e-mail
us.

I am also a hobby grower of roses. At one point, I had 150 rose
bushes in my gardens.
I have cut back to a couple of dozen because of the time required
to grow good roses in the South. It is a constant battle with bugs,
fungus and moles, and it takes away from my training time with the
dogs.:)
My favorite roses are the OGR'sand Austins, but
I also love the hybrid teas and floribundas.
